“Plant the seeds of yesterday for the vision of tomorrow and know that the present moment holds the power for all that comes to fruition.”
Tricia Sedgwick

Seeds of Plenty is about wellness, nourishment, community and this is the reason why we feel so connected to supporting the growth of edible garden projects.

Currently, Founder, Tricia Sedgwick, is the Coordinator of the Seed to Table Project, The World in a Garden, located at West 57 and East Blvd., Vancouver, BC. The Project is run through the Jewish Family Service Agency with the support of many community partners.

.

Open to all cultures, The Seed to Table Garden Project is a multicultural youth program in which participants grow organic food, and contribute the harvest to our community food bank, while connecting more closely to our food sources and to the values of giving.
One theme of the project is “The World in the Garden” whereby individual plots represent different regions of the world with their respective native crops. The project celebrates various harvest festivals of  cultures around the world, and their traditions and celebrations. There are many interactive opportunities for the community to partake in - from growing and preparing food for harvest celebrations to fundraising and donating.
